Google Chrome and Firefox	Now we all know this world is full of rapists, molestors, soliciters, child molestors, pedophiles, etc. Now anyone who commits a sexual offense, they usually end up getting help. Now the victims of the sexual offense usually suffer A LOT. So what do you think should be the proper way to deal with sexual offenders?

For example, a rapist or first-time offender would probably undergo some jail time, chronic rehabilitation, be forced to wear GPS tracking technology, and be placed on long-term probvation, and depending on their behavior over the past years, punishments would be lightened to just the GPS tracking technology and probation, along with "society-training" programs every now and then. If however, the criminal has assaulted multiple victims and/or is a serious serial offender, then indefinite confinement and possibly the death penalty may be necessary, depending on the severity. Also, I wouldn't consider removal of the genitals or halting the sexual drive an effective method of punishment, as the offender can obviously still continue assault victims or even possibly provoke more assaults (Plus I consider the former as a Cruel and Torturous Punishment).

Persons who commit these crimes in the first place often have problems in their life, whether its a severe depression episode, being abused by family members, or a chronic addiction to pornography. How would you feel if someone close to you was convicted of a sexual assault and sentenced to life in prison, especially if you knew they were going through a rough point in their life? Life in prison may not necessarily be ten-fold the torture that the victims went through (It depends on the severity of the assault), especially if the offender is YOUNG. Life in prison to an old fool is probably a peaceful end to his life, while a minor/young adult would go through countless decades of torture of losing the right of pursuing happiness and freedom (Unless they receive First-Class prison treatment). This isn't a discussion about whether or not the Death Penalty is immoral. Discuss about it here. The point of severe punishments such as life-in-prison and the death penalty is to keep the public safe, not to torture the offender to the point of absolute hatred of society and life. We are humans, not sadistic revenge-hungry animals. If every sex offender was sent to Life-in-Prison, our jails would be full and our taxes will skyrocket (After all, who else pays for these people's food, clothes, etc.?). Also, not every sex offender's assault was severe enough to get such a harsh punishment. Again with this question: Would you feel the same way about this issue if it a close family member that was convicted?

Google Chrome and Firefox	I don't think sexual offenders should be put into prison for life inprisonment if they are 1st time sexual offenders. However, after a sexual offender goes through therapy, help, etc. and they STILL do it. Then there should be a severe punishment handed out to them. Also I believe once you are a sexual offender the cops should be able to notify the neighbors about it. I think it is better to be safe then sorry.
